Through consciousness, the intuitive knowing that sickness and discontent do not belong to God's attributes, Corey has sought to provide proof from his early youth that man has the birthright to enjoy life joyfully and happily.
With this goal in mind, Corey has lived a varied life that has shown him the different facets of life.
He experienced negative aspects firsthand, such as poverty, cruelty, betrayal, and financial ruin. In contrast, however, the positive results of the healings performed by him came about.
In short, what he has learned through his life experiences is that thoughts create; that which you fear becomes your truth, and what you acknowledge as absolutely true—that is, what you are convinced of—will be rewarded at the level of your conviction.
Even amidst the most negative personal experiences, requests for healing were the focal point of his activities, and through the many miraculous healings, it became his life's purpose to delve into how healing takes place.
Early in his life, he met those who assisted him in his search for the truth.
Over the course of many years, Corey visited and participated in the various aspects of the Christian faith, Buddhism, Hindu philosophy, and theology in general. His studies in esoteric teachings, those of Carl Jung, psychology, and sacred philosophy did not give him the satisfaction or the answer to his question as to why healing does or does not take place. Through those studies, it became abundantly clear to him that he could never be a follower.
His quest also led him to the physical side of human existence, and he pursued studies in physiotherapy and chiropractic, among other subjects, in Los Angeles, California.
By chance(?) he met Ernest Holmes, the founder of the Science of Mind organization in America, around 1950. He made it clear to Corey that it is his persuasive thoughts for the well-being of the other that constitute the healing factor, and that he was therefore not dependent on any particular method.
In 1975, Corey founded the Omni Foundation in Santa Monica, California, and began dedicating himself full-time to healing and the teaching of the Omni philosophy. After meeting his wife Hermance in 1980 and moving to the Netherlands, they continued as a team to spread the Omni philosophy in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Corey has always attracted considerable interest in his ideas, although he has generally avoided publicity.

If we keep our attention focused on the Light and not on the darkness, then the darkness no longer has a chance to exist within us.
The only method at our disposal to prove that we are not merely dealing with theory is to put into practice that which we believe to be true in our daily lives.
Everything we do and think with conviction becomes reality in our lives.
Reason and intuition are both important to lead a perfect life.

I owe my unusual name, Hermance, to my great-great-grandmother, who was so fond of Hermance, the protagonist of her favorite book, that she named her daughter after her (circa 1800). The Hermance from that book was spontaneous, cheerful, generous, and sweet. Since then, the name has been passed down from mother to daughter. I consider it a beautiful heritage.

From a young age, I have felt drawn to the sunny, playful side of life. I could not tolerate illness and other problems well and did not understand why they existed. Because I automatically focused on the bright side as a child, I was called 'the sunshine in the house'. Only later did I understand that I was actually engaging in positive affirmative thoughts.
I grew up in The Hague, the daughter of an ENT doctor. The first word I knew was 'penicillin'; the miracle cure of that time. When my father put on his spotless, starched white coat, placed his mirror on his head, seated me in his special treatment chair, and touched my sure little throat with a long, gleaming instrument dipped in clove tincture, the pain vanished as if by magic; that was truly 'the power of thought in action!'
During my childhood, I often stayed with my beloved grandparents and aunt in Zevenaar, in a quiet rural setting. There, I enjoyed complete freedom and developed a great love for nature.
After completing my law studies, I greatly enjoyed teaching law, constitutional law, and economics at a boys' secondary college in the Netherlands.
One day, I came across the book 'Swabhawat' by Saswitha. I opened it and read: 'Man makes his own world.' This intrigued me and set me thinking.
In 1975, I completed my studies in Hatha and Raya Yoga with Saswitha personally and became a teacher of Saswitha Yoga.
I taught people of all ages and groups with great pleasure. At primary and kindergartens, youth centers, psychiatric institutions, cultural centers, retirement homes, government services, and companies.
In 1979, I met Corey Van Loon at his workshop in 'De Kosmos' in Amsterdam, and in 1980 we got married. It was him who made me aware of what I had long known deep within: 'that thoughts create'. Since then, I have been 100% dedicated to his Omni philosophy. I always attend all of Corey's workshops, courses, and other activities. In 1983, I became an Omni Science of Mind Practitioner, Teacher, and Minister.

Our children Michelle and Quido always accompanied us on our often lengthy trips through Europe and America. For some time now, they have had their own families, but they continue to attend as many Omni activities as possible and perform many tasks for Omni behind the scenes. They are successful in their endeavors and truly apply the philosophy in their lives.
Corey says: 'You are on earth to be happy,' and I can wholeheartedly agree.
Like most people, there are wrinkles in my life too. But because I am aware of the power of my thoughts and of my connection to the purifying Energy of Love, the wrinkles always disappear again in a quick and miraculous way.
